Joining Our Sustainability Initiative

One Community is creating a sustainability initiative with an unparalleled plan for global outreach because we believe the key to creating a sustainable world is giving people a diversity of methods for interacting and understanding sustainability. Our long-term goal is to provide something for everyone, from free education resources to full-emersion scholarship programs. For people interested in joining this project in its initial stages we have a variety of ways to become involved now and help us create the infrastructure necessary that will support the scholarship and exchange programs, eco-tourism, and community expansion planned for 2012/2013.

WHAT’S PLANNED FOR MID TO LATE 2013 and 2014

Fueled by our comprehensive open source strategy, One Community will be launching a diversity of other opportunities for participation starting mid to late 2013. The first will be weekend work and learning crews for people interested in hands on sustainable infrastructure building experience. Next will be eco-tourism with camping and room rental options, scholarships, and worker exchange programs. And starting in 2014 we plan to have the infrastructure to host our first One Community sustainability expo/festival. In all cases visiting One Community will include the full-emersion experience including everything that makes One Community special:
